Brooklyn Bridge - Downtown

Brooklyn Bridge - Midtown
Here are some pictures of Midtown Manhattan, from, or involving the Brooklyn Bridge.
Midtown in the background. The highest building is the Empire State Building. The savvy viewer will see the Chrysler Building as well.

The Empire State Building through the Manhattan Bridge, from the Brooklyn Bridge (265mm focal length zoom). If you ever get the chance to take this picture (I had to climb up on some girders on the Brooklyn Bridge to do it) learn from me. I too the picture with the needle of the Empire State Building in the apex of the near-side arch in the bridge tower. What I should have done is take it in the apex of the arch created by the meeting of far-side shadow with the near-side arch.
